Warhammer 40k: Imperial Guard Army

Ok, so this is my first time painting minitures. I plan on doing an Imperial Guard army. I bought the Imperial Guard Cadian Battleforce, a Cadian Heavy Weapons Team Squad, and a Imperial Guard Chimera.
In total I have 1 Command Squad, 20 Shock Troops, 6 Heavy Weapons Teams, 1 Sentinel, and 1 Chimera.
I also have Dwarf Cannon and Dwarf Engineer w/ Heavy Weapon I intend to do later for fun.

I primed 3 of the heavy weapons teams and the 20 shock troops today, wish I had more clean pizza boxes to set them in, space is tight in the apartment.

Finally a little time to spare!

Well It's midweek and for once I don't have a damn thing I need to do! All the bills are paid, the pad is (reasonably) clean, dishes in the washer, and I have the place all to myself. Think I might hop on the Wii and play some super mario world while I do something I've been meaning to do for a long time but haven't been able to....

I finally get to catch up on all the episodes of "Heart of The Hunter" that I haven't listened to yet!
Heart of The Hunter is a really fun and interesting fantasy podcast by Sam Chupp (very busy man who is quite a contributor to the pod-o-sphere) and you can find it at: http://heartofthehunter.com/

Go listen/read Singularity by Bill Desmedt

Bill Desmedt's "Singularity" really is a singularly outstanding novel, packed from cover to cover with measures of uncertain romance, espionage, science, history, intrigue, and action!

No, seriously it delivers all this and more! It is one of the few books of the many I have read that I would recommend to anyone. And if you don't have time to read it, he was nice enough to have it beautifully narrated and released for free in it's entirety as a podcast novel.

You won't be disappointed!

Gas to guzzle!

Finally got my truck fixed!

Oooh yeah! 14 miles to the gallon woot!

It's nice to have the rusty beast back online though!

Much thanks to all the people who assisted and/or drove my arse around during that time of troubles!

So from the phone then....

It's sort of wierd that despite bloggers cool autosave features i think i prefer writing my posts in OpenOffice or on my phone.

Ackbar, finally!

Looks like today the weather will finally be decent enough to finish working on my truck! Well, to be honest it was yesterday but I overslept when my buddy came over with his tools, so we weren't really able to get anything done. I better hurry and get it running though because I think Phoenix is getting sick of me using her car to go to work! Well and I'm sick of getting a ride to and from work on the days I can't borrow it. I miss my truck it'll be good to have it up and running. ::Knock on wood::
